Our Heritage

In continuous operation since 1974, Cera-Met was originally part of the CERCAST Group.  All of Cercast became part of Howmet Corporation in 1989.

In 2000, when Howmet was purchased by Alcoa, the name was changed to Alcoa Bethlehem Castings.

On December 1, 2007, the plant was purchased by Henri Fine, owner of Uni-Cast.  A new name of Cera-Met was established to “reconnect” to the strong heritage of the original CERAMET.

Today, both Uni-Cast and Cera-Met are managed and operated independently.
