We at Cera-Met, like all of you, are navigating through the uncertainty created by the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19).  In trying to protect the health and well-being of our team, including our employees, customers, and supply chain, we have implemented a few guidelines that we are enforcing effective immediately. Cera-Met is open and maintaining normal business operations, but we have implemented precautionary steps to prevent infections and to minimize the spread of the virus.

  • We are actively monitoring news and reports from the federal, state, and local health agencies including the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization) as well as PA’s government agencies.

  • Cera-Met’s staff meets daily to share information and review precautionary measures in order to stay on top of the latest notices and regulations.

  • We have restricted all non-essential visits and meetings at Cera-Met until further notice.  We have also placed a restriction on any travel to customer or vendor sites.  This is in an effort to protect our employees, customers, and vendors.  If you have a meeting scheduled at Cera-Met, please reach out to your contact in order to reschedule your meeting or coordinate a virtual meeting through use of technology.

  • Cera-Met has created and implemented a COVID-19 Response Plan.  This plan provides guidance regarding precautionary measures as well as protocols and procedures to properly clean and disinfect the facility.  The Response Plan also addresses maintaining safe social distances while in the workplace.

Please remain diligent in doing your part in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (sing Happy Birthday to yourself twice)

  • If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.  Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people – maintain a safe distance of at least 6 feet and minimize or eliminate being in larger groups of people.

If you are feeling sick:

  • Stay home, except to get medical care.

  • Call your primary care physician for medical advice.

  • Avoid public areas.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or the inside of your elbow.

  • Throw used tissues away in the trash.

  • Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or, if soap is not readily available, use hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol.

  • Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily including: tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will follow best practices for minimizing any risk. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have further questions.
